Hey Corpinc this is Victor Tango, I go by either Vic or Scott in TS (vent, skype, whatever...but no mumble). I have been in chat several times with Kev (Oredin) and Jon (Pyro) and have chatted with several of you guys. I have been gaming with those two for over a decade and plan on getting into SC. Right now I am building my fleet like a teenager with a trading card game, buying limited editions with LTI and avoiding commons. I have not been into Arena Commander that much, primarily due to life (school, projects, family stuff, etc) but plan on getting into it pretty heavily in the future. In 2015 I am budgeting my first DIY computer build so I can buy the processor I want at a price I can afford.

Right now I have 5 ships but next week is the anniversary sale and I am sure to by one more (maybe two depending on pricing and if I melt a previous ship). I am trying to spread my ships based on roles so I have a broad base of capabilities at launch. Although I am sure to get into Dogfighting, PvP, FPS and other combat actions, I will probably be focusing on the 'softer' stuff like hauling, gathering and post fight recovery (medic, repair, salvage, etc).

This is my fleet before the anniversary sale. All with LTI.

Starfarer, The Margarita Belle, gas hauler. This is a keeper, when I can get a look at the Gemini variant I might upgrade to it. If it have a mid flight refueling module for other ships I might get it, if it only have more armor than I will stick with the base model and use it for gathering, refining and hauling fuel. Fuel need is a safe bet.

Banu MM, GiGi the Grocery Getter, merchant man good hauler. Another keeper, because if you are going to haul stuff haul a lot of it. Probably keep this in the hanger and wait for guild convoys, probably use it for making sure whatever base or factory we set up nearby is getting the goods it needs to stay productive.

Super Hornet, Buzz Kill, main small sized combat craft. I am sure this is going to meet whatever fighter itch I need to scratch.

Aurora LX...probably going to upgrade this to a 315P after the anniversary sale to fit a single player recon, explore, personal transport role I need in game.

Gladiator, sigh, I thought when this frame came out it was going to get the same level of attention as the hornet. Also with two engines I thought it was going to be a bit bigger than the hornet. I doubt this is going to stay in my fleet, a carrier based bomber/torpedo carrier that primarily will be hitting capital ships or ground targets is not a card I need in my deck. Will probably get melted for a completely different role since if I am going to fly a 2 seater into combat I will probably be in my Super Hornet.

Bummed I missed the salvage ship sale this fall, but we will see what next weeks sale holds. Looking at the exploration (correction Research) vessel pretty hard, maybe the mechanic ship. I want to keep my Hanger full, but not get to where I have a bunch of unused Hanger Queens. Four mid to large sized vessels with different roles and a hanger of three small ships is more than enough to keep me entertained.

Well just wanted to post an introduction, show you my cards and tell you what I plan on doing in game. As Squadron 42 gets closer I will be getting more into building my dedicated SC gaming rig, playing Arena Commander and popping into TS more often.
